Football Liverpool has two great football teams which are very well supported ; Everton and Liverpool. Everton Football Club was formed in 1879, they play at Goodison Park they have won quite a few cups : First division 9 times, the FA cup 5 times and the European Cup winners Cup once. A very famous player for Everton was Dixie Dean, who holds the record of most goals scored in a season, 82 in 1927-28 season. Liverpool Football Club was formed 1888, they play at Anfield and have been a bit more successful : First division 18 times (record holders), European Cup 5 times (the most for a British team), League cup 10 times (record holders), and the UEFA cup 3 times. I have to admit that my team is Liverpool and down below I have picked my favorite all time team:

Red Rum won it 3 times and came 2nd twice and became the most famous horse in the world until he sadly died in 1995. he is buried by the finishing post at Aintree.
